Character idea

You ever just have an idea that sticks in your head and keeps popping up, never going away? Well I've had this idea in my head for awhile. It's a character that I keep thinking of creating in sort of a...superhero type setting (I guess you can blame me watching Gotham and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for wanting to do this and for this idea popping into my head).

So the name they'd call her is "Miss Fortune" (for like the paper headlines and the like). She has these powers to conjure up just about anything. I haven't yet worked out how she got these powers but I keep trying to think of something inventive. Anyway, after she discovers she has these powers and seeing the crime in her city (as well as hearing about other cities that have their own heroes) she is inspired to fight crime and do well for her city. She wants to become a " hero" for her town, just to help people and make the world a better place. She has all these good intentions. But whenever she tries to help somebody or do something good, it ALWAYS backfires. The city deems this mystery woman (since nobody sees what she looks like, only that it's a woman) "Miss Fortune" (since she tries to bring good things/fortune to those she helps, but misfortunate things wind up happening). Kinda of a nifty play on words along with her powers unfortunate side effects.

What do you guys think? Obviously a lot of details need to be worked out, but this is the basic skeleton of her as a character.
